Concrete Sealants
Guard Industry concrete sealants are regarded as the benchmark in water-repellent, oil-repellent and anti-graffiti protection. Using innovative impregnation technology, our concrete sealants do not form a film over the applied surface and remain permeable to air and water vapour. They penetrate deep into the pores of the concrete surface which ensures no blistering or flaking over time. All our sealants are UV resistant and do not turn yellow over time.
Our concrete sealants limit the absorption of water, oil, fat, grease, stains, soil, and even graffiti. Such protection levels make them suitable for both residential, commercial and industrial use.

Why seal concrete?
Concrete is one the most used construction materials on earth. Its popularity is due to its strength and durability. Despite this, concrete has one apparent weakness, namely its porosity. In short this leads to the absorption of water (and other, more aggressive substances) in miniscule quantities. Over time, this may lead to lasting and damaging results pertaining to the performance of the concrete.
Obvious substances such as oil, atmospheric pollution, grease marks, food and beverage stains, chewing gum and graffiti can damage and ruin the appearance of concrete. Other natural phenomena such as efflorescence and the sporadic darkening of concrete (black attack) are unsightly.
