Guard Cleaner® Eco Surface Preparation can be used to remove mild stains and residues, either from manufacturing processes (mould release agents) or from storage. Guard Cleaner® Eco Surface Preparation is suitable for wet cast concrete products that are low in porosity, such as cobble pavers and flagstones.

Guard Cleaner® Eco Surface Preparation is used in preparation for concrete sealants being applied to low porosity materials. Once applied, it increases the concrete’s porosity and helps sealants to penetrate the surface effectively.
Designed to meet the varying requirements of safety, effectiveness and impact on the environment, Guard Cleaner® Eco Surface Preparation requires no neutralisation after rinsing with water. It is non corrosive and non-irritant.
Do not use on UHPC with metallic fibres.
- Shake the product well before use and apply undiluted.
- Always test on a small hidden portion of the substrate before applying.
- To increase the efficiency, first wet the surface with water.
- Apply the product liberally to the surface.
- Allow it to act 5 minutes maximum.
- Do not allow the product to dry prior to rinsing.
- Rinse the entire substrate with a high-pressure cleaner once the material deposits have softened. Otherwise, brush off using a thick bristle broom, and then rinse with water from a hosepipe whilst brushing at the same time
