ProtectGuard® HD is able to withstand high traffic and high soiling loads without compromising efficacy. ProtectGuard® HD is an ideal sealant for driveways, garage floors, pool surrounds, entertainment areas and many other commercial applications. Potential spills and stains can easily be cleaned off the surface during regular cleaning.
ProtectGuard® HD combats the main causes of urban degradation, such as atmospheric pollution, greasy soiling, water seepage, acid rain, chewing gum and general dirt and grime. It prevents these contaminants from soaking into the surface and, therefore, prevents permanent staining. Even graffiti is no match for ProtectGuard HD – It prevents paint and ink from getting into the pores of the treated surface.
Being a non-film forming impregnation sealant, ProtectGuard® HD does not alter the natural look or texture of the material being sealed. This also means that it will not alter the natural grip of the flooring materials. This is particularly important in pedestrian applications where slip hazards need to be eliminated. Furthermore, It is also is fully UV ray resistant and does not yellow over time.
Surface Preparation
- Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry surface.
- To remove stains and traces of pollution, use Guard Wash® Express.
- To remove traces of efflorescence, laitance or grout film, use Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & Cement.
- For low porosity materials, use Guard Cleaner Eco® Surface Preparation prior to application.
Application
Apply using a low-pressure sprayer, roller or brush.
